There is a new trend out there that should cause concern to parents and child safety experts. The trend or recipe involves gummy bears (chewy sweet candy treats) and alcohol. Yes, candy mixed with alcohol is being consumed by teens as a way of “partying” and “having fun”. Unfortunately, many teens lack good judgment to begin with. Then, you add alcohol to the mix and there are many risks to the teen as well as others if the teen decides to hit the road while under the influence of “alcohol”. Whether alcohol is consumed through a beer bottle, wine glass, or gummy bear, the dangers are all there. See Drunk Gummies – Teens Soaking Gummy Gears in Vodka to Get a Buzz.
